LearningBiz is a qualified training provider for HARIETT which stands for the Hotel And Restaurant Industry Employment & Training Trust. The trust was established in 1978 to help provide existing and future UNITE HERE! Local 5 members who are attached to signatory employers with a way to acquire and retain the skills necessary to either gain employment or advance their careers within Hawaii’s hotel and restaurant industry. Under the HARIETT program, members are entitled to career planning, education, training, retraining and other benefits, most of which are available at no cost to the employee.
